The fast food chain, which is found primarily in southeastern states like North Carolina, Alabama and Georgia, first announced a Texas expansion in June 2021 with locations in Houston and Dallas-Fort Worth.

In January, the chain announced it was aiming to establish 100 restaurants in Texas between Austin, San Antonio, Houston and Dallas-Fort Worth in the next seven to 10 years. There are currently around 800 Bojangles' restaurants in 14 states.

Bojangles is partnering with San Antonio-based Copacetic Group LLC to open locations in the Alamo City.

Bojangles' menu features items like chicken sandwiches, all-day breakfast and pimento cheese biscuits.
